Two Shores, a Single Memory – From Silence to Light
Saturday 12 September, from 7.45 pm, as part of the events marking the 50th anniversary of the Friuli earthquake (1976–2026) , the Arena Alpe Adria in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Viale Europa, 26) will host an event dedicated to the memory, solidarity and rebirth of our communities following the earthquake of 6 May 1976.
At 8.00 pm , there will be a presentation of the permanent sculpture, a work by the artist Alessandra Aita, entitled Two Banks, One Memory, created using wood collected along the River Tagliamento.
In the stalls of the Arena, the following photographic exhibition entitled From silence to light, organised by the Foto Cine Club Lignano.
At 9.00 pm, the music and testimony show From Silence to Light, conceived and organised by the ‘Sand of Gospel’ Choir, together with ‘The Powerful Gospel Chorale’.
